What to Expect at You-Pick Events

We start inside the cottage on premise with light snacks, a brief history of the farm, and a quick tutorial on cutting flowers.

Then you'll head out to explore the fields and cut your bouquet before coming back inside to arrange everything.

We wrap up with bouquet care tips and always leave time for a few photos.

A few things to know

  • This is a two hour event.

  • You-Picks are capped at 12 people in the summer (16 in winter) so everyone has ample space to create bouquets.

  • Tickets include everything needed to make gorgeous bouquets to take home.

  • You must be 12 or older to attend a you-pick.

What to Expect at Bloom Pass

Bloom Pass is a ticketed 45-minute session where you come to the farm, cut your own stems, and head home with fresh flowers. Sessions run early morning so you can enjoy the farm before the Arizona heat sets in.

It's perfect if you want fresh farm flowers but don't have a couple of hours to spare.

A few things to know

  • Sessions are capped at 10-12 people, so the farm never feels crowded.

  • Tickets must be purchased at least 24 hours in advance — no walk-ups or day-of sales.

  • Open Hours is available to guests ages 12 and up.

Common Questions

  • Rural Stems is a working farm, so wear shoes you're comfortable walking in on dirt and gravel — getting a little dirty is part of the fun!

We also recommend sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.

  • Just your ticket confirmation and your creativity! We provide everything else you'll need.

  • Due to the sharp scissors involved in flower cutting, we ask that children 12 and under stay home. Teens between 13–18 are welcome with a parent present. Nursing mothers are always welcome to bring their baby. Have a specific situation? Reach out — we're happy to talk it through.

  • Although we love our furry friends, please leave them at home.

  • Yes! Events are held in our on-site cottage, which is fully air-conditioned. We also keep water on hand to keep you comfortable.

  • All tickets are non-refundable. If you're unable to attend, please email us at ruralstemsflowerfarm@gmail.com or call/text 602-284-2884 so we can open your spot for someone on the waitlist — we hate to see a spot go to waste!
